Dianna has an accident

A couple of days ago we were leaving the dining room after lunch. I was pushing Dianna in her wheelchair to her room. As we moved into the hall Dianna started screaming.  I stopped immediately to see what was wrong. I got her to calm down and then I saw she was holding her left hand. I looked at the hand and it seems to be ok. She said that she was okay so we proceeded to room being careful. I took another look at the hand and it seems to be ok.

I thought everything was fine and forgot it but yesterday morning Julia, the head nurse, called me to say Dianna's hand was quite bruised around the thumb. I told her what had happened. She was quite relieved to know what had happened and how it had happened and told me that she would get the doctor to have a look at it. As of today at noon the doctor has not been around but I had another look at Dianna's hand (see pics). While the bruise is not pretty Dianna can move her thumb and it doesn't seem to be broken. I still would like to have the doctor have a look at it.
